The Brooks Marathon du Lac d’Annecy 2026 returns on 18–19 April 2026, one of France’s most iconic running events. On Saturday 18 April, several race formats will take place, including a half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km and 5 km, open to runners of all levels. The highlight comes on Sunday 19 April with the marathon (42.195 km) around the stunning Lac d’Annecy. With turquoise waters, charming lakeside villages and spectacular mountain views, the event transforms Annecy into a true running capital for the weekend, attracting thousands of runners and visitors eager to experience this unique setting.

Annecy Lake Moonlit Marathon

The Marathon du Clair de Lune 2026 (Moonlit Marathon) returns on Saturday 9 May 2026 in Doussard for a unique running experience. Starting at 8:00 pm, this 42.195 km night marathon offers a magical route where nature, the moonlight over the lake and mountains, and the energy of the runners combine to create an unforgettable sporting and social adventure. Participants can also choose the two-person relay, perfect for sharing this extraordinary experience and fully enjoying the nocturnal atmosphere that lights up the lake’s shores.
