From July 6 to August 30, 2026, Vital’été turns Annecy into one giant open-air sports playground! Over 300 free sessions, led by 26 local associations, are on offer across the whole Annecy area. On the program: cycling, tennis, padel, pickleball, basketball, yoga, qi gong, taekwondo, hiking, water walking, paddleboarding, tango and more, something to delight seasoned athletes and curious newcomers alike! Launched by the City of Annecy, the initiative makes summer sport accessible to everyone, with sessions held mainly in natural settings and secure public spaces open to all. Open to adults 18 and over, booking required. Lake, parks or city centre: there’s a session with your name on it this summer!

The Menthon family once again opens the doors of its home! Every Wednesday from July 8 to August 26, 2026, discover several of the château’s most prestigious rooms after dark, in an intimate, sometimes mysterious atmosphere. A costumed amateur theatre troupe takes you back in time and reveals the secrets of the place, through hushed corridors and stately rooms. More than just a visit, the evening also invites you to stroll through the château’s gardens at dusk. Departures every 30 minutes between 7pm and 10pm (about 50 minutes), light refreshments available on site. Rates: €18 from age 15, €9 from age 5, free under 5. Tuesday to Saturday, from August 4 to 15, 2026 at 6pm, at La Seiche in Sevrier, meet your favourite canine heroes in a 90-minute show packed with music, dance, good vibes... and dazzling magic and illusion acts performed by renowned artists. A sparkling, surprising show designed to delight kids and grown-ups alike. Prices: €10 for children, €15 for adults. Tickets sold on-site, doors open 30 minutes before the show.

Kids and parents follow clues, spot unusual details and explore the lanes of the Old Town to uncover the secrets of the city: a family adventure perfect from age 7, led by an official City of Annecy guide. Meet every Thursday from July 9 to August 27, 2026, 10am to 11:30am (starting point: 3 passage de l’Île). Rates: €7 per child, €4 per accompanying adult, paid on site. Booking required through the City of Annecy’s reservation office.
